I am a Certified Public Accountant and currently serving as Chief Financial Officer/Accounting, for GD2 Global, LLC, a transportation consulting & technology company providing services for large events (such as the Olympics, Super Bowl, World Cup). The company is based out of Las Vegas, however, I work from home (even prior to COVID). Before moving to DeLand in February of 2019, I lived in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and was Vice President of Accounting & Real Estate Administration with TBC Corporation (Tire Kingdom, Midas etc.). We moved to DeLand to be closer to my parents, who live in DeBary. For schooling, I graduated with a BS in Accounting from University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, and with a Master of Business Administration from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Chris, and have two stepchildren, daughter, Alex (26), and son, Tommy (22). We have a yellow lab named Hannah Palmer (yes after Arnold Palmer!) and enjoy playing golf, practicing yoga, cooking, and attending/watching sporting events. I currently serve/member of Florida Citrus Sports (audit committee chairperson), Quantum House (Board of Directors), Junior League of Greater Orlando (sustainer), Persimmon Hollow Brewery (Board of Directors) and DeLand Breakfast Rotary Club. I thoroughly enjoy giving back to my community, volunteering time to various causes and look forward continuing this with The Krewe of Amalee !

We have an almost 2 year old daughter named Finley and love spending time with her and watching her growth. I am the daughter of current member Amber Trevino and daughter in law to Shannon Honeyager. I am a pharmacy technician with Walgreens in downtown Deland since 2013. I’m excited for this upcoming year as a new member and look forward to gaining lasting friendships.

THERESA HOPCRAFT

My name is Theresa Hopcraft and I was born in Fairfield, CA on Travis Air Force Base in 1960. I was raised in the military since my father was an Air Force pilot, and I traveled and lived abroad when I was young in Kirchberg, Germany, and also in London, England. I moved to Florida when I was 11 and have lived in the Orlando area ever since and now reside in DeBary for the past 13 years and LOVE IT!! I am married for the past 35 years to my husband, Greg, and we enjoy boating on the St. Johns River, traveling in our RV, and walking on the beach and local trails in Volusia County. I have two grown sons and four grandchildren which keep me busy along with my two businesses.

I have my own new real estate & mortgage brokerages, Sovereign Realty & Mortgage Investments, and have over 15 years of real estate experience and over 28 years of mortgage financing expertise to best serve my buyers and sellers who are currently in the market to buy, sell or invest in Florida real estate. I can provide quality services and current market analysis comparisons for home valuations to sell homes as quickly as possible. Plus, I can provide lender underwriting knowledge for conventional, FHA, VA and USDA financing for mortgage pre-qualification and approval for prospective buyers.

I live by the “Golden Rule” treating my customers with integrity and respect. My goal is to provide the SOVEREIGN PROMISE for superior value-added service and promote high quality customer satisfaction to earn the privilege to become your Realtor & Mortgage Broker. Trust is a Must on my team, and I am the Expert in Expertise!!

I have participated in the Krewe’s “DeLand Dog Parade” as a sponsor for two years and enjoy riding in the parade to help the local community. I have numerous Krewe friends over the years including, Carolyn Anderson, Fabiola Prahl, Mimi Carter, Rhonda Smith and Debbie Reed. I am looking forward to being part of the Krewe in 2021+ and I feel honored to be part of this worthy organization.

LIZ MASSY

I was born and raised in Deland, Florida and had the pleasure of growing up around this organization. My mother, Sara Massy has been a member since the inception of the Krewe. I was a debutant in 2009 and participated in other parts of Krewe entertainment as a child. I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Studies from Nova Southeastern University and a Masters of Applied Science from University of Denver. I’ve been living abroad for almost a decade. While in Trinidad and Tobago, I owned and operated a Crossfit gym, competed in adventure races, joined a running club and spent my weekends trekking the mountains. I moved back to Deland in the middle of the pandemic and bought a house downtown. I am a personal trainer and have definitely lived up to my senior superlative of most spirited! Besides coaching and training, you’ll catch me jumping out of airplanes on the weekends. I have no kids, and no husband. I do however like long walks on the beach, extreme sports and my two animals, Roosevelt and Brownie! I look forward to being a part of such an empowering group of women!

ALYSSA SIGERS

Hello, my name is Alyssa Sigers! I was born and raised in Lake Helen and that is where I currently reside! I am a graduate of DeLand High School where I was active in the National FFA organization as well as playing varsity softball all four years. After high school I worked in downtown DeLand for a few years, meeting wonderful people and seeing how I could be apart of my community! I recently graduated from Daytona State College with my cosmetology license. I currently work at Glow and Co Beauty Bar in downtown and I am thrilled to be back working in the area!

TRACY SNOW

My name is Tracy Snow but I am also known as ‘glammy’ by my grand kids. I was born in Los Angeles and spent most of my life in North California. My family moved to DeLand in 2017 where we reunited with my oldest daughter. As a teenager, instead of looking at cars and hairdos, I always looked at houses and wondered what it looked like inside and what secrets they had and how happy families were that lived in them. So I became a Realtor and I just love what I do. What brings me the most pleasure as a Realtor is making a difference in the life of my customers. The more I can do or give, the better I feel. Joining the Krewe of Amalee was the natural thing to do in continuing to give back and making a difference in my community.

TAYLOR STUBBS

Hello! My name is Taylor Stubbs. I was born and raised in DeLand and couldn’t see myself laying roots down anywhere else! I married my high school sweetheart Jarod Stubbs in 2017 and we have a beautiful baby girl named Caroline. I graduated from The University of Central Florida with a degree in Elementary Education. I taught kindergarten, but then switched to being a stay at home mom right before the pandemic hit. Along with navigating motherhood, I also learned how to flip furniture and craft. I’m always looking for new projects to do in my spare time. After being invited to the Krewe ball a few years ago with the Bembinster family, I knew I had to be apart of it. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and making new memories.

MEGAN UMIKER

Hi, I am Megan Umiker and I was born and raised in DeLand, FL. After graduating from Florida State University (GO NOLES!) I moved to Tampa where I met and married my now husband, Dustin (He’s a Gator, I’m a NOLE, but we make it work). We have two boys, Liam (9) and Nolan (5), who keep us both very busy.

I love all things sports and being a BOY MOM! I am usually spending most of my days at the baseball or football field with Liam, our oldest. I am also the Secretary and a Cheer Coach for DeLand Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading, which Liam participates in as well as a member of the Junior Service League of DeLand. I enjoy attending Tampa Bay Rays baseball games, Florida State football, crafting, a good brewery, and being outside with the boys.
